FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: what is your response to any negative review?
A: I’ve been breeding. over 16 years & not everyone will be happy. I think if you put every marble in a jar - say 1 a Yr for 16 yrs then the jar can seem heavy and break. I try very hard to please people. But people get upset when you have high prices, high standards, high expectations. We have had a few Hiccups along the way. I was forced to Fire 2 employees. 1 was a man hired to build the kennels and another was a guardian who stole from
us To start her own program!
Sometimes When you have high standards people will disappoint you. I had hired The guardian to dog sit while I went out of town and I will never do that again. I later saw videos that she had NOT cleaned the dogs. It was upsetting Faced with Legal action she decided to point the finger at me. I believe my reputation speaks for itself! And that’s proven with over 16 years of satisfied clients. We have a very loyal following. I think common sense proves we provide great healthy puppies. My goal is to stay true to myself & my clients. So I usually ignore the negativity if it is beyond my control.

Q:Have your puppies had all their shots?
A:Our puppies are kept up-to-date. Puppies receive a series of shots until they are about 12 weeks old. This will vary slightly according to the vet you use. Puppies, like children, receive shots to protect against various serious diseases. When you purchase your puppy, we send you home with lots of helpful training and feeding information as well as the puppy's up to date shot record.
Q:Will my puppy get sick?
A:This is very important! Just as children pick up illnesses from other children, puppies can pick up colds, coughs, and illnesses from other dogs. We take the best possible care of our puppies while they are ours and we have a seperate room in our home to care for puppies that develop common puppy ailments. Like people, puppies can incubate illness or hide symptoms. That is why we offer a puppy kit with literature to help you care for your new puppy. We also ask you to sign a contract when you purchase your pup. We also treat all puppies with Albon for 10 days prior to leaving to prevent coccidia...We are here for your puppy for the life of that puppy should you ever need advice. YOU CAN EMAIL US ANYTIME FOR ANYTHING AND WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO HELP YOU AND YOUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER IF WE CAN.
Q:I have allergies. Which puppy would be best for me?
A: I SUGGEST A wire DACHSHUND.
THESE ARE NON SHEDDING HYPOALLERGENIC
Q: how difficult isn’t housebreaking a dachshund
A: Luckily for you I grew up with a professional obedience trainer for the AKC as a child. Almost every puppy is 70-90 percent housebroken before leaving or within the following week. That’s because as soon as they can walk we start them on the pads. This coupled with the training book provided in the kit makes the transition very smooth for you. Other breeders charge thousands for this service but here we provide it at no cost!
Q:What does it mean to have a registered puppy (e.g., AKC and others)?
A: AKC stands for the American Kennel Club. This organization is the most familiar registry for pure bred dogs in the country. And there are several other purebred registries such as ACA, CKC, APR, etc. that also register and keep the lineage of purebred dogs. When you buy a purebred registered puppy (a puppy "with papers"), it means its family tree is documented as being exclusively that breed and it can be registered. One misunderstanding is that registered automatically means "healthier" or that it is automatically a show dog. Neither is necessarily true. A registered dog means only that its parents are of the same breed and the dog comes from a purebred line. We do not guarantee our puppies for showing or breeding. They are sold as companion pets. Many people do register their puppies and it is fun to look at the names of the parents and other relatives. Proven show-quality dogs can cost in the tens of thousands, like racehorses, and other champions. But show dogs do not have guarantees of better health or personalities. Often what distinguishes a show quality dog from one that is not are traits so specific and detailed, they are often only discernible to judges, show breeders and other experts. However the BRAIN of the dachshund which is most important and why Most love the breed is highly affected .
In my experience this is exactly why owning Champion lines as your pet is the ultimate goal!
Other show traits include the gait and movement of the dog, as well as details of the dogs conformation such as shape of the head, length of the dogs back in proportion to its height....Even the way the dog holds its ears or tail. Most layman and dog owners would not even be aware of the specific conformation details that separate a show dog from a pet dog.
This small factors could help avoid popular back issues.
While not every dog can win a show, we do think all puppies are adorable. Because we have worked so hard for so many years to perfect our bloodlines, they are very valuable. Therefore unless you are an approved show home we do not give the papers with our puppies. Too many people have tried over the years to use our pedigrees to scam other people. Every breeder chooses how to handle this situation in their own way and we find this to be the most effective way to prevent any unauthorized breedings. All our parents are either Akc or Import lines.
